His pedigree includes AKC CH. Briarbrooks Valedictorian which was the sire of my first Aussie over 20 years ago. Rio comes from excellent bloodlines with
many multiple champions.
He is a gorgeous, spirited and very playful dog.
Rio loves to play ball and run around the yard with his buddies. He also loves to burrow in the couch and sleep on soft beds.
Rio is a great little guy that everyone loves.
I have had many knowledgeable Aussie and MAS breeders and handlers
praise him for his "typeyness" and beautiful head and silky coat.
He has his Canine Good Citizen Title!
He has blended well with the pack here at Stones River.
Rio has passed his herding instinct test and does well in obedience classes.
Rio tried FAST CAT (Lure Coursing) for the first time in October 2017 and got his first qualifying run! He also did a lure course for CAT (Coursing Ability Test) and qualified!
Rio got his first Fast CAT title in 12/2018- BCAT.

12/2016 CERF (Eye exam) was normal/normal
Health testing on parents is all clear on : PRA/PRCD, DM, HC,
Rio is an MDR1carrier.
